This is what food writer and critic David Burton had to say in Your Weekend magazine (The Dominion Post, 28 May 2011) about Lynfer Estate Pinot Noir during a review of the Silverspoon Restaurant in Silverstream, Upper Hutt. When served with a dish topped with a mushroom and thyme sauce he commented:
“This was perfect with a glass of posh Lynfer Estate Pinot Noir.”
